Periodontal disease is very treatable, but may not be fully cured depending on the severity of the disease. After completion of your Periodontal Therapy with the Hygienist, you will be scheduled for regular ongoing maintenance care. These visits will involve a complete periodontal exam along with detailed dental hygiene care that allows the hygienist to monitor closely your condition. Since Periodontal Disease can be episodic, we want to ensure your disease is not progressing further.

We recommend scheduling your Periodontal Maintenance visits more frequently than a general Hygiene Preventative Care appointment.
